Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2021: Vacancy For 477 SI Posts In Odisha Police, Read Details

This is the news for the youths who want to work in the police. In fact, there are 477 vacancies for Sub Inspector (SI) posts in Odisha Police. This recruitment is to be done by the Odisha Recruitment Board. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the board at odishapolice.gov.in. At present the application process is going on and the last date to apply for the posts of SI is 15 July 2021. Candidates should note that they should fill the application form correctly and submit the application form will be canceled in case of mistake.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification – According to the notification issued by the Odisha Police Recruitment Board, candidates applying for the posts of SI in Odisha Police should have a graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized university. Along with this, the candidate should also have knowledge of Odia language.

Age Range – Candidates age should be more than 21 years and less than 25 years. Age will be calculated as on 1st January 2021. Whereas reserved category candidates are given relaxation in the upper age limit.

Application fee- All applicants other than Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category applying for Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2021 will have to pay an examination fee of Rs 285. Fee payment will be done through online mode only.

Selection Process

To get selected for the post of Sub Inspector in Odisha Police, candidates will have to appear in the written examination which will be conducted in computer based mode. Only those candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for interview round and psychological test.
